Rescue being used as a weapon

Recently in a few dungeons I've been in the healers have used rescue to punish other players as payback for not playing how they want, I've seen healers run ahead and drag the tank into a new set of mobs, I've seen them purposely pull players into aoes and watch them die...
It has literally just happened to me as I didn't get hate off the healer quickly enough in a normal raid, (I was the ot, I don't know why the Mt lost hate then) yeah, I could have been better and I am trying to learn, but the pettiness of it (I was told that's what I get for not getting hate fast enough) really surprised me. I don't tank much, but have been trying to learn. I can see why people just don't bother.

If you believe that healers are using Rescue as a way to grief you, you can always report them to a GM. Unfortunately, you cannot report them for griefing another player; third-party reports are not considered, and the individual that they used Rescue on would have to be the one to report them.

That counts as griefing and is easily something you can report someone for or get them kicked assuming they don't have friends backing them up.

it does bear mentioning that if people are trying to use it to make you pull faster then you'd like that they can't actually use Rescue if you don't put yourself in combat. Only areas that have a lock-out barrier will force you into combat even if you take no actions against any enemies.

Using rescue into mobs and having the tank killed with intent is MPK and considering griefing, that's reportable.

Second with the tank stance buffs in 5.0 if a tank is actually losing aggro to a healer with tank stance on they need to learn how to actually play their job. The enmity system for tanks now is so ridiculously easy to hold aggro for tanks even if they do aoe combos on a single target. The only reason anyone else aside a tank should be targeted in aggro is if both tanks die prior or is related to a mechanic from a specific fight.

Third a good concept (especially since you're learning how to tank) is to let the mt pull in tank stance, then turn on your tank stance so you get second in the aggro list. Certain bosses like Chadernook and Leviathan do autos to the two players with the highest aggro which are really meant to be for tanks. So if you're not second on the list usually the melee dps are the ones getting auto'd and that's not a good time.

Thank you. I didn't have stance on as the other tank went straight for it. I will do that from now on.

How will gm tell the intentions of the healer using it? He could as well missclicked it, just like a tank could missclick shirk and kill healer wiping party, the intentions are never clear, especially if they dont write anything.
Also you should have provoke in case of mt dead, if you see second tankdying or dropping aggro for any reason, turn on tank stance and provoke asap. This skill saved a lot of raids for me.

Because according to OT the healer admitted to it by saying "that's what you get for not getting hate fast enough". Admitting to purposely killing them should be good enough evidence for a report.
Ofc if the healer stays quiet GM's have no reason to act on the report unless I guess alot of people report the same person for the same thing many many times, then GM's might get a bit suspicious and look into it.

Absolutely laughable. You can harass someone far more with the chatbox. Why do we have that again? Oh because it’s an MMO.

Healers have barely anything interesting left in their toolkit as it is. Let’s not strip that back even further thanks =(

Healers don't need rescue to kill people.
