I like mechanics like O3S's Queen's waltz especially last phase version where you have to pay attention but you have seen all version so it is reactionary without throwing random curveball out of nowhere, basically mechanics that interact with their arena Tsyukiyomi is another good example same with Nael's Heavensfall(i have an instant death wall i better use that XD), it makes me feel the boss belongs there and only there due to how they interact with their arena.

Lame..I'd be the only one to list a favorite from a dungeon that isn't savage or extreme, so I'll just narrow it down to this: Stack mechanics. I don't know why, but I like stack mechanics.

Suzakus Merry-Go-Round of EXPLOSION comes to mind, Byakkos Free-Fall-Phase and Susanos Jumping Dance was fun too. I also like some of the older stuff, like Snowcloak where you have to build snowballs out of spriggans and throw them at the boss. Or being a bellyache to Cerberus.

Welp most of my favorites have been listed already. Namely being eaten by the boss, falling from the skies while dodging stuff and the verticality of o2s (I wish we had more fights with verticality)

The 3 I haven't seen yet but are in my top 3 mechanics:

Anything where the boss tilts the arena you're fighting on. Somehow I find that far more fun than sliding on ice even though it's basically the same thing. I love Leviathan and i get a massive kick for dodging death beams while sliding in Sophia.

Being blasted into the sky so I can dodge Sephirot's massive arm. Rope jumping mechanics are oddly fun.

    Alexander's time stop.

As WHM, I like stack mechanics too. Gives me a reason to use Cure 3.

Baldesion Arsenal: Raiden - Ame-no-sakahoko + whirling zantetsuken. I don't know why, but the boss leaping back and thudding hard onto the ground into a one-shotting ability just always strikes me as cool. It's not very hard to resolve, but it just looks neat.

The Avatar: Towers + charges that also trigger certain mechanics. I think this is the only fight that has this? It's not quite the same as the goblin with the injectors as it followed certain mechanics. The Avatar, you could have mechanics go off differently as the resolution was simply don't have two towers go off at the same time.
