Housing glitch fixed? I hope not...

Hey All!

So, question...You guys know that housing glitch where you put something in the storage then right click or press square on ps4 to make it come out and hit "place" to place it where you normally wouldn't be able to? I haven't been able to do this for a couple of weeks now and am starting to wonder if it was patched out or if it's just me. I play on ps4 and when I hit the square button instead of giving me the little menu to place it just straight up places it close to where I'm standing. No options, no moving it around, just bam it's placed right there. :/

I always imagined that if the day comes when SE patches the furniture glitch, i will enter my house one day with all the glitched furniture on the floor lol, but i just checked now and all glitched furniture is still floating so maybe its not yet fully patched.

I was still able to make use of that glitch last week when decorating a friends house - I'm on PC though.

I did had some trouble getting this glitch to work at first aswell, but it ended up being user-error. I hadnt used it in such a long time that I forgot to give each item a little spin to keep them in place...

Given Yoshi P himself had said it's amazing what people can do with their interior housing with glitching things onto other things, I don't think SE will be inclined to remove it. More-so make it easier / better for us to build.

Update: After reading a few of these comments I went back and tried to do it again today. Still doesn't seem to be working for me. I'll take a video and upload it by the end of the week to better show what's going on. Basically what I'm trying to do "this time" is place a window on a partition. Sure, you can use the wall glitch but the one I was hoping for is the one where you pull it out of your storage and right click/press square to place on a wall after positioning it. Instead, the moment I click on it to move it it just places the window half way in the ground where I can then move it around from the items already in the house. If I instead right click from the menu it gives me the option to "place" but doing that does the same thing as mentioned before. Puts the window half way into the ground just floating there.

Nothing is "wrong" with it. It still works, I'd rather move the windows around and place them where I can see them on the partition instead of guessing and trying over and over. However, this isn't the main point. The same glitch is how you put things on the stairs or the railings or closer to the walls then normal. So, even if it wasn't a matter of windows on partitions it is still needed for other things.
