Random graphics crashing after 5.08

Hello there,

I have been running into random crashes since the last update(5.08), is totally random it happens during raid/dungeons/gather/afk, I notice that is graphic related since the audio continues normally in the background.

Already tried
-update graphics driver and DirectX.
-Clean my gpu.
-Gpu temps are normal.
-Rollback to old gpu drivers.
-Disable and unninstall fps/monitoring overlay(MSI afterburner+RTSS)
-Disable Steam and discord overlay.

despite of doing all the above the game always crash and is hard to replicate since happens randomly.

Have any updates or changes been made to the PC that coincide with the crash? Could you also try doing a cleanboot? Open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

Go into Nvidia Experiance settings and disable the overlay

I never install Nvidia experience when installing my drivers, thx tho!

I already find a way to fix my problem, I installed DDU to clean all the files from nvidia driver, then reboot to install Nvidia drivers version 431.36 no crashes so far.

Seems that the game have issues with the latests drivers.

In the error message you receive, it lists the graphics drivers. This suggests the issue stems from either the drivers or the GPU itself (or something may be interfering with them). Have you tried the clean boot suggested in the above post? Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

Tried a clean boot as you suggest and after 1 hour chatting with my FC in shirogane I get the error message again, also when raiding E3S the last couple of days... nothing seems to fix this problem.

All my other games run great, should I cancel my sub and return when this is fix? I mean if you check the forums post several people is getting the same kinds of errors(GPU/DirectX related) and none of the suggestion provided works, please fix your game!

Im frustated and I feel sorry for the guys in my static raid, we need to pray to RNG on every pull so we can complete the raids before I get a crash and is not fun tbh.

If you have not done so already, could you try changing the compatibility mode? To change compatibility mode, right click on the exe file (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\boot\ffxivboot.exe), right click it and select ‘Properties.’ Select the ‘Compatibility’ tab and select Windows 7.

Dynratugus - You are giving the same responses OVER AND OVER for the last month - Please escalate the issue so it gets fixed. Its obviously a game issue compatibility problem. Thank you - Yes my game is still crashing the exact same as everyone else with this same issue. Yes we have done everything you suggest and more.
