    You mean like XI .. where you get the quest then have to deal with crafters' price-gouging? Nothing 'earned' about that method of obtaining more slots. it requires no skill other than the ability to buy gil.

    I feel like I have way too much inventory, please take some of it away SE.

    Maybe like 30 slots and then make us do goblin based quest to get more.

    I have brought forth some more information for you guys!

    Will Ifrit/Moogle/Garuda weapons and unique/untradable gear from instanced raids be storable?
    The unique/untradable storage box is generally reserved for items that can only be obtained through events and other gear that cannot be obtained more than once. As such, items such as Ifrit weapons and Moogle weapons can be obtained more than once, and therefore aren’t storable.

    We will have a Topics article regarding the item storage box soon, so please hang on for more details.

    If you want players to have all classes leveled and actively enjoy them; don't make equipment space an artificial barrier. There is a lesson to be learned from FFXI here, and that lesson is that restricted storage space (other than the space slots available themselves) is antiquated and inefficient. We should not need a special NPC to store weapons, or a special box to hold trade goods, or a special alchemy table to hold potions. I want a stable, sortable, and most of all, functional source to store goods that aren't used on a daily basis.

    The spaces on retainers work for now, but as you continue to add Unique/Untradable gear to the game, that is a continued number of slots that will be taken away. In time, this will become a SERIOUS issue if you do not address it NOW.

    Using "it will drop again" is a terrible excuse. Plenty of players have lamented their disgust over the current loot distribution methods. Even with primal tokens (totem/charm) the amount of time spent trying to "re-earn" a weapon would be a complete waste of time. Furthermore, this doesn't even begin to address the rare gear from dungeons.

    This is unacceptable, please stress the fact that we need nonrestrictive storage space to the development team.

    As the Dev Team continues to add more and more gear from raids inventory will always be a problem. Add to this the Mats needed for crafting and it will only get worse unles they address this before Ver 2.0. Porter Moogles anyone?

    Just increase the stacks. 99 to 999 and 999 to 9999.

    Plus, make dark matter lvl 5 fix all the gears. That way 40% of space will be freed.

    the problem is becoming more of a dev created issue then anything else. they release 500000000000 pieces of unique gear per patch now and then add more items and recipes in the same patch and say well we added all this new stuff, but we are taking away inventory space and the new gear is not able to be stored in the boxes. it is short sighted and not very well thought through.

    then they turn around and talk about the new stuff coming out shortly and it will have even more new gear and that will not be storable either. then add in a second job for each class. at some point we will have more gear in game than the character does between them and both of their retainers and it continues to just get worse.
