You guys are aware of the mannequin system coming in 2.0, right? Gear won't take up inventory space anymore and there will be 1-click gear set changes between classes/jobs.
I don't know about you, but in my case gear takes up most of my inventory anyways, so I won't need the 200 spaces anymore once the mannequin system is in place.
Noooo you can't do that to the poor onion helm it could do with changing to make it kinda useful though I wanna craft with it, perhaps change its stats to scale as you lvl.
Just create 9999 arrow stack and 999 materia components and my ivt will open 30 slots!
It seems this storage box is becoming more, and more useless by the day. It's not even out yet which is the funny part. At first we were told we could store u/u items, then it was seasonal items/af/achievement items. Now it's just the two former. Excellent.Hey everyone!
I'd like to give you a couple of quick details about the planned storage system for 1.22.
First of all the system will be free of charge! No need to spend your hard-earned gil on storage your items. Also, it will be possible to store individual pieces of your AF, not just a full set.
We are looking into the storage of seasonal event items, but there are some concerns about possible bugs arising, so we will get back to you on that once we have some more information.
I was looking forward to the storage for event items mainly, but it sounds like it might not have that capability? :\
They should really sort the Materia issue better, I think.
Making them stackable is a good step, but since there can be many types of materia for each tier (I mean T1 being, i.e., INT+1, INT+2, INT+3, etc....), staking them doesn't really help much.
There are only 2 good solutions, imho:
1 - Make a separate tab for materia (like with crystals); [BEST OPTION]
2 - Make all materia of same tier have the same stats.
Transferring items to retainers is bad enough as it is with the current netcode. I'm assuming transferring to-and-from storage will be just as annoying.
I am not looking forward to this change.
I'm not against storage in general, but I would much prefer this to be implemented in 2.0 when transferring items becomes more streamlined.
Why even release the storage box if you can't put seasonal event items into it? That was the primary reason people wanted it.
