NG+ Literally means New Game Plus. Instead of starting a "New Game" (aka start from scratch), you start a new game in a special mode. In some iterations of this, it means having gear/level/items that you accumulated in the previous game at the start of the new one. In our FFXIV case, were getting something akin to that. The 'Plus' is having our characters current iteration available in MSQ where it shouldnt be possible? So gear/Levels pretty much. It boils down to being able to replay the game with what youve already accrued. If that doesnt fit your fancy, well thats fine. For a lot of people in this thread, the exp thing is irrelevant. They do want to replay MSQ for the sake of MSQ.
