If I can't get the achivements for doing the quests paths from the other 2 cities, and I can't get access to the other 4 pieces of unique eqipment from those low level quests, what's the point?

ARR isn't even implemented at this time anyway? But yeah... I guess if what you're wanting is the beginning equipment only... then there is no point for you, since this feature is to see the story, not collect gear. At least as it is currently being put into the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
