What I said still applies. Especially to the bolded part. At least you acknowledge that you were setting yourself up for disappointment. Others seem to have just expected it, and then have thrown a fit that it’s not meeting their expectations.

People would just spam the beginnings of an MSQ for easy experience. They wouldn’t use it for the intended purpose of replaying the story—it would become an EXP farm (complete with cutscene skipping) and nothing more. The intended purpose isn’t another avenue for leveling. It’s for the replay experience for those who want to do the story again—a feature that’s been requested many times in the past without asking for rewards to be tied to it.



Which is exactly what this is offering. People are just angry that they can’t get free shinies from it.

To be fair, people rarely use content as it was originally intended. Look at the MSQ roulette debacle or even Eureka. But I suppose I get what you're saying. I wasn't looking at it from a "doing it just because" point of view, though that's obviously the way the devs intend to implement NG+. I have no issue with that though, I really don't. I may even replay some of it myself sometime.
