You mean those where you had to take the role of NPC's and defeat the major baddie in that chapter? I hated those. I had to intentionally fail them until I got the Echo buff, so I could just get them over with.

I looked forward to these just as a way of leveling alt jobs, instead of just running sidequests and dungeons.
No XP = no-go for me.

Ok. Well it seems like if you just, you know, played those fights right, you would probably get them done faster than dying until you got all that echo. But I guess you do you?

Beyond that, if its a no go for you, ok. Dont use it. That's fine with the rest of us who want it for story. I think this is literally the big difference in mindset Im seeing. For everyone who wants it for story - theyre happy and whether it applies exp or not isnt relevant. For everyone who wants it as a means to level but might not get exp - its trash/shouldnt be implemented/waste of resources/etc. Not that Sam is saying this, but this is the vibe Im getting from people who are really upset that it might not give exp.
