To be fair, exp for NG+ wouldn't be even this much in demand if the sync quests weren't limited to 70-80. As it is, a questing option for leveling a job would be pretty nice and harm nobody. They're probably going to do the ARR zones at least when they remake the story for it.

Well, this certainly isn't for everyone, but so is a lot of stuff in this game.
I don't savage, because I don't want to. No one is forcing people to do NG+.

But, it would be nice if you could get at least some EXP from it.

MSQ quests alone barely give any XP anyway, it's the sidequests/dungeons that do a lot.

A sidequest gives literally half the xp of a comparable level msq...

Not sure what youre talking about. MSQ itself is the primary leveling method, providing averagely more exp at level than about what else you could do. It is only a more recent convention that you should do daily roulettes along with MSQ to stay ahead of the cap. And that is generally how it operated for ShB. If you did leveling, Trials, and Normal raid in the DF, you wouldnt level cap in MSQ. If you were a masochist, you could also do MSQ Roulette...But in anycase, yeah, for leveling your first class it was always MSQ above all other things.

Thiiis is not true. There is a point, usually multiple, in every MSQ where you hit a level wall before the next quest and the only way to scale it was either FATE grinding or a hearty amount of extra dungeoneering. It's easy to forget now that general exp from 1-60 is faster, but it happened when they were relevant (and still does in Shadowbringers quests--the stretch from 78-79-80 needs some dungeons).

End of... what? What end? You are literally picking random chapters of the previous story to replay. There is no 'end' for this. This is just 'if you want to replay parts of the story that you really really liked, please look forward to doing so!' and that is all.

There are no goodies involved outside of STORY. There don't need to be. The goodie IS THE STORY. This is 100% a gift for people who wanted THE STORY. There doesn't need to be anything else. At all. Literally everything else in the game has carrots attached to it. This was done because people were BEGGING for ways to redo major story parts that COULD NOT BE DONE otherwise.

And stop telling us to 'go to the inn'. We have heard that enough when bullied in dungeons. By y'all. When bulldozing through the story. Rushing for exp.
