No, not period. You don't speak for other people. They said they wanted the story experience back. What that represents for each one of us can be different. For me and clearly others, the story without at least the character progression through xp is not really the same, and not what i asked for.

You... don't get programming do you? You can't just reuse the same script to do quests. There are lots of manual paths you will have to map and different encounters that the combat script might not be able to handle. You would have to write new scripts for every single quest. It would be insane amount fo work to do that, unless they program it all to sell illegally as a boosting service and get their money that way. Honestly though, selling gold is way more efficient cause SE already sells that service in their shop.
I think the chances of seeing bots doing the MSQ is close to zero.

And this thread proves i was right? Lots of people came here to express their disappointment. I know there are people who will be happy with just replaying the story. But do you know that that is not everyone? Are you this ok with denying others a feature they could enjoy? Why?

If that is the case, and i have my doubts, then what exactly is your problem? If the exploit is happening already having new game + give XP rewards would change absolutely nothing. So, again, why are you adamant in denying people a feature they could enjoy? I mean, just the fact that you think the game should now be designed with everything the bots do in mind is ridiculous. Should we also remove mob drops from the overworld? Shall we remove quest cause bots do them? Should we remove gathering nodes cause bots farm them? Just stop.
The bots are a problem on squeenix back end and that is where it needs to be fixed. Not in the game design.

As for leveling - You have PotD, HoH, dungeons, Dailies, PvP, FATES... the FATES in ShB even provide SHINIES for you if you unlock them. They tried to provide those nifty carrots that everyone seems to be clamoring for in this thread. That they took the ONE THING that they decided to put in for the people wanting to do the STORY AGAIN and said 'this is not intended for level grinding' and y'all are having a fit? Nah. XD I'm sorry... NAH.

But, apparently, i have to be forced into those options you listed without any choice even though the feature is right there. I cannot be allowed to enjoy a different method. Why? I know there are people who will be unhappy that they don’t have a carrot that entices them to play the content. But you do know that that is not everyone? Are you this okay with trying to tell them what they find enjoyable and worthwhile? Because it seems like you’re doing a lot of that in this thread.

You seem to be shocked that players would like this feature without things attached to it. Have you never replayed a single-player game just for pure enjoyment? Reread a book or series of books simply for pleasure? That’s the purpose of this feature. Not another way for people to bumrush alt jobs.

You can create a new character on the login screen and do exactly that!

On a serious note, the new game+ they've implemented is similar in concept as a new game+ where you keep all your levels/gear/etc that many other games feature. If you were wanting a full wipe new game+ then you can create a new character to do that as a substitute, but the new game+ they've put in is simply for people to re-enjoy the story with and replay certain instances they love. I know many friends who will be using this feature to go back to instances like the Nadaam, The major solo battles throughout SB and the like. It'll be a feature many story lovers will use, just as there'll be many people who will ignore it.

I will personally be using it, since it means I don't have to re-level characters to experience certain parts of the story again.

I don't really care about replaying through things I've already done for nothing, especially when all I really care about are the cutscenes that I can watch any time at the inn.

The inn doesn't let you view everything and experience any of the solo instances, nor does it let you speak to all the NPCs along the story objectives that have a lot of flavor dialogue and thoughts on certain situations that helps to bring the story even more alive.
It also doesn't let you visit some cinematic areas you're sent through in the story, like the area right before you engage the trial of 3.3. For story lovers, new game+ will be an immensely useful feature.

Please explain how this thread proves you're right when the highest liked posts—of which there are several—argue against it? While I normally attribute little to likes, in a discussion about whether you "like" a feature or not. They are somewhat relevant.

Putting aside ARR, you're forgetting how allowing repeat EXP gains on every MSQ quest renders almost every other EXP avenue obsolete. Just doing the Shadowbringer quests from 70-71 nets you 10,080,000 EXP. For comparison sake, this is more than even the MSQ Roulette offers at the equivalent level. And you could skip every cut scene, making it take no more than a half hour if even that. Basically, New Game Plus becomes the best EXP option by a mile. Highest EXP rewards per time spent, no chance for wipe or slow downs save your own. Why would I even touch other content for leveling?

As for denying others a feature they could enjoy. People who want to experience the story again will welcome this feature because EXP gains were never their desire in the first place. The only people this "hurts" are those who hoped for a cheap and easy leveling alternative where they wouldn't even watch the cut scenes, thus defeating the entire point. Simply put, New Game+ wasn't designed for you much in the same capacity Ultimate is designed exclusively for raiders.
