"New game plus - quests will have no rewards..."

I’m fairly certain that the PLL last night confirmed that New Game Plus won’t offer quest rewards for doing it. I could be misremembering, as it was late, though.

Thanks for the correction! It was late for me as well so I didn't remember all that was said.
Still that works for me. I've been wanting to go back and do specific quests again, instead of redoing the entire thing, and the fact that the system is close to how LoTRO does it is just icing on the cake for me.

Fair that, but also, again - all those choices gives disproportionate exp to what time you put in and it's the same 3-4 things over and over. With a storyline, you have a flow of things you are following that makes it feel less of a grind. Again, personal experience of the situation.

I do agree though that POTD and HOH give to much experience - but I don't see people complaining about that as much now at any rate. Only way to get a little boost to help the exp grind creep along atm.

I guess my issue is that I love FFXIV for it's gameplay and story art and everything, but I find the job leveling outside of MSQ feels unrewarding, not because of lack of progression but that I can't put in large amounts of effort tied together in an over arching way -instead have to run the same 5 minute chores 200 times over. Same amount of effort, just packaged in annoying 5 minute bursts. (Yes it's an overexaggeration but still the point)

*Edit* Mind you, combat orientated jobs only. The hand/land jobs I feel are fun as is and looking forward to the 5.1 and onwards stuff
