Thread: BLU MAGE...PATCH 5.1...HMMMMMM?

Well according to the LL, blue mage will be getting a level cap to 60, more spells to learn, & definitely more additions to the Carnivale...which bored me.

The Blue Mage Log sounds interesting, i guess. Have to hear more on it.

I hope they will allow Blue Mage to go into PotD or be use in squadrons.

My blue mage only have 37 spells. Just didnt have the patience with getting the other spells.

Was excited about blue mage after the initial release but that dwindle after a couple of weeks.

What are your thoughts regarding the LL info so far regarding Blue Mage?

The whole point was to force people to play that carnival thing..

I still use it spawn the Outer La Noscea S rank and the Amh Araeng one (Which actually requires it).

Exactly this. Will probably take all of an hour to level up to 60 then never touch again.

From this we can presume that one of 2 things should happen:

1. Blue Mage sees a re-work into a normal and functional job.

Or

2. Blue Mage is straight up removed from the game.

As much as it pains me to say it, 2 seems more likely to happen than 1. What will probably actually happen is that the dev team will see no one is playing it so they'll just stop doing stuff for it. I mean, they never even increased the action drop rates since Blue Mage launched if that gives anyone any idea of how half-assed the idea of Limited Job(s) even is.

Its one thing to appreciate something taking a different angle but its another when the voice for change has been consistently given and ignored.

I don't think is going to be removed at any point. Probably SE is going to finish whatever they were working on and if the numbers keep being so bad BLU will be discontinued.
