Removing Additional Actions? Why?

I think that's what's going to happen too. For several expansions now SE has been trying to fight against the mindset that you need to have all crafters leveled to be successful, and while they kind of did better with that in Stormblood with making specialist actions really good, the fact remains that there's still essential skills that were locked behind craft specializations.

Even if they do eliminate the cross-class actions, there's still the recipes, which usually require cross-crafted materials. In that case, there are three options:

1. Buy the mats on the MB (I will NOT buy 99 of I need 3)
2. Level the other craft(s) and make them yourself.
3. Don't craft those items.
