Allowing Gear Change in Active Mode

As the title implies, I'm curious to see everyone's opinion of the introduction of this. Gear Swapping macros were common in XI, and with the recent implementation of JSE in XIV, I think its only appropriate that something similar is allowed to be done.

imo Active/Passive Mode is a vestige of Tanaka's FFXIV, and should probably be done away with, but that's besides the point.

Some of these AF pieces are... lacking. However, they have some unique perks that are only needed from time to time (ie, Choral Shirt's enhanced ballads). Nothing is stopping us from putting our weapon away, and then switching, and then switching back, but it's just annoying to have to deal with that.

Please no gear swapping mid-battle. I've got enough shit to worry about with macros, I don't need another thing. Live with the gear choice you make when you go into battle.

You think inventories are full now? Add FFXI-style full gear swaps for WS etc.. and see what happens.

People using full gear swap macros for each WS, song, ability, or spell was absurd enough in that game. Let's keep it out of this one.

Let us be able to walk in active mode and change gear while sitting.

Changing gear in active mode will just bring back gear swap macros. /cringe

No.. Restricting gear swaps to outside of combat only was one of the best decisions made for FFXIV.

We don't need a full set of gear for every individual WS we have. Pick one gear set for one fight. You can switch between fights if you want to change strategies for the next one.

Changing your pants when you have an enemy clawing at your face is just silly, really.
