Suggestion Penalty for leaving

Can you please make it so if a party keeps wiping don't get a penalty for leaving. Today on very easy dungeon wiped 5 times because tank and healer was very bad. Doesn't seem right that forced to stay when you run out of time before finishing it. They need to make it after 3 wipes ones can leave without a penalty.

That's why you have Vote Abandon. If the party is unable to clear the content then suggest abandoning it or perhaps try kicking the player(s) causing the problems. Also you are not forced to stay in the instance, you can leave at any time, take the penalty if Abandon/Kick is not possible.

Your suggestion is open to be abused, certain players could purposely cause wipes to reach the required number so that they could leave without any penalty. If anything the duty penalties could be a little stricter, but that's just me.

Can't kick a bad player or they can report you and might get banned for it. Seems very unjust when you never finish a duty because you keep wiping. Like today first 30+ seconds in last boss fight healer keeps dying and causing us to keep wiping. After 7 wipes couldn't take in any long and left. they need to make it where if wipe so many times you don't get a penalty for leaving. There's been a lot of times i try to use abandon and others vote not to. This needs to be fixed. I'm pretty sure this is only mmo I have played that even has a penalty for leaving. Makes me wonder why they have it in the first place. When one leaves the spot can always be filled again.

Penalties for abandoning a duty are there for a reason. If there wasn't - anytime something came up where someone doesn't want to do a particular duty, they just up and leave and it may be impossible or not to fill that gap. Someone has to be held responsible for wasting other people time.

If people are too thick headed to not choose to abandon a duty when there is no hope of completing it it's unfortunate if you can't vote kick someone that you're somewhat held hostage. but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Also there's no way to determine who kicks whom with certainty from a duty (unless it's talked about in chat). Sure you can probably infer from the contacts list if people were from the same server but that's not proof.
