Wow... it's really stupid to remove quest rewards from the New game + system.
If you can't use it to level new jobs, what is even the point? What a waste...

To redo the story without having to either pay for a jump potion to the expansion of your preference or level a character from scratch? Considering this game puts so much emphasis on story, it's hardly a wonder people would like to replay it again on the main character. Why would you get experience again? That was destroy every other avenue since the MSQ quests give significantly more EXP overall for less time spent, especially if you skip every cut scene and use it as a powerleveling method.

When i'm playing the game, i want to be achieving something. If i just want to just experience the story again i can lay down and watch it on youtube. I even have the option to skip parts. But alas... to each their own.
It's a video game, not a movie. Experiencing the story still involves playing it, including the combat content. It's like i'm the twilight zone where people never heard of youtube.

Personally, I would rather watch the MSQ cutscenes with my character in them. It's like i'm the twilight zone where people never heard of youtube.

That isn't my character though, which disconnects me from the story. Not to mention, I want to experience the story myself not watch someone else do it.It's like i'm the twilight zone where people never heard of youtube.

For you, this was only ever an ends to a means. Just another level alternative. That isn't why people asked for this feature. They wanted to replay the expansions. Simply put, New Game+ was never intended for you.

I'd still like more clarification, as quest rewards could mean the items and gil obtained only and not the xp. Think about how you could keep re-doing new game+ to level your crafters by getting the gear for guild leves, something I doubt they want people to farm in that way.
I can see not including items and gil, since you should already have enough gil to easily equip any alt jobs you're leveling. If no rewards also means no XP, then the feature will be useless for me, and I'll continue as a one-job player.I'd still like more clarification, as quest rewards could mean the items and gil obtained only and not the xp.
