EU player looking to transfer to Cactuar

Hi everyone!

As the title says, I'm an EU player, but I'm looking to switch to NA because I'm American and conflicting timezones have become too much.

I currently play on Phoenix, but I'm looking to join Cactuar or another NA server. I'm in an amazing FC on Phoenix, so if I switch to NA I'm hoping I can find a good group of people.

My questions for Cactuar players are:

1. is there a large raiding community? if not, do you know of NA servers that do?
2. are players generally friendly?
3. would you recommend your server to other players?
4. how active is cactuar?
5. is there an aether discord? please help!

1. Cactuar is an everything server. We have raiders of all kinds (softcore, midcore, hardcore); but we are not “the raid server”. That title belongs to Gilgamesh (and kind of Sargatanas). However, with cross-world PF, it doesn’t really matter which server you pick. Aether is the raid heavy data center, so finding a group isn’t that difficult usually.

2. I’d say so. I’ve been on Cactuar since I started (Nov 2015), and don’t recall meeting many “toxic” individuals. Our server used to be known for being nice and chill, and I think that still applies.

3. Sure.

4. Very active. We just got out of being a Congested world, so I’d say we don’t have problems with inactivity.

5. Not sure. Never looked for one, personally.
