How long do you plan to punish new players?

Sorry that my topic feels offensive, but the more and more i think about it, i get more and more and more angry.

    I started in 2016.12.28.
Yeah i started in almost at the end of Heavensward. So why is that older players can sell EXCLUSIVE content from the past, but SE can not? Huh? Yeah it sounds super weird, but it is still true!

I am talking about the Paramour Barding (2015), Egg Harness (2014) and Starlight Barding (2013)!

I finally could buy Paramour Barding from the marketboard some months ago... But it seems impossible to get the Egg Harness for over 777+m gil (which is the only one available on Light DC, its on Phoenix), or the Starlight Barding which is 45m cheapest (on Odin).

I hope you can bring them back in a moogle event or to mogstation! But realise this: please let us support you at least if you do not want to make it a reward, because this is one of the many reason some players turn to gil sellers!

I actually really like this, we should get more rare items which you cannot buy with real money from mogstation.

So you are supporting the gil-sellers instead?

You could instead just choose not to have those items.

Aren't you, indirectly, supporting the gil-sellers yourself by being part of the demand for the item? You might not be buying the gil yourself, but, by wanting it, you are, in a sense, driving up the price for the item. Gil-sellers are, in a way, part of why they're so expensive. Anyone selling knows they can rake in as much gil as they want, because somebody out there is just gonna RMT to afford it.

If demand dries up, that's one less source of players looking for quick gil at any cost.

What is the purpose of the items if no one would want them? Why would we even raid, why would we do treasure hunt or do events if not for the rewards? Why would we go to dungeons or do the weeklies? Why would you do crafting? And so on...

And also what do you think of the gilsellers? Are they MIND-readers? Because some of us want an item, they instantly know which item we want? They instantly know what is the demand? We post a wanted-poster in every corner for those items, or what? How and why would i support gilsellers if i am the one who posted a comment against them?

You are one of those who just tries to turn everything inside out, instead of helping to solve a problem. You are one of those who say "there is no problem, only you are the problem". <- this is how you make sure a problem will never be solved. (i don't know why this is good for you at all) I honestly thought (and prove me wrong) but 2.0 was better than 1.0 because the DEVs listened to the players on what is the problem, why wasn't 1.0 working/enjoyable for the players. (at least this is what i heard) So why are you here trying to stop me improving on a small (and also weird) problem?

If SE chooses to do this, they should only do it once all similar seasonal items are basically extinct in their unbound variety. Doing it for any item would signal that all items will eventually get this treatment, which would likely drive down the value of other more common items, such as Eastern Cherry Trees.

Wow, it's the been a while since I've seen someone's words be twisted like this. You really think the guy supports gil sillers just because he would rather have rare stuff attainable in game rather than just lazily thrown on the mogstation? I already didn't like your original post, now I can't even take anything you say seriously.

This is precisely the reason that all event rewards are untradeable now. They're not going to retroactively change those items and tbh there are so few things to really spend gil on after a certain point that it just piles up. I would just look at it as a goal I'd want to reach one day if I was in your position but to each their own.

I will say I'd muuuch rather see them attainable in game from future events instead of the mog station though. I've spent well over $1000 in just subs on this game over the years. And I'm sure many others have as well. Let that sink in for a little bit.
