Hi,

I think and I hope, I'm not the unique person who is asking this to himself, but why FC has had priority on the housing? Why one person is waiting months, transferin to a new server, to have the house you want, and then they came with this. I think more than 2 weeks is enough to buy a house for a FC. So wich is the reason for not having the private houses available yet? I think it's absurd all this time that has passed. So my question is, someone knows, when private housing will be avaliabe? Because is getting to long, this is absurd, in my opinon.

There was no private housing in the beginning - only FC housing. It is normal to give FCs a chance to grab a plot first before letting personals take over. Normally the waiting time for private housing is 2 - 4 weeks after FC housing was released so it should hit soon.
As Spriggan/Twintania is still new and attracted a lot of new players who created new FCs some still struggle to get enough fonds to buy even a small plot. We, who moved there with our years of experience and our bags of gil, have a hard time understanding the struggle of fresh players and fresh FCs. Personal I think it is fair to give them two or three weeks time to settle in.
I can only talk for Spriggan but last time we checked there still lots of larges, meds and hundreds of smalls left. So even if this will be postponed another two weeks people should still be able to grab good plots (even good large plots) for their personals.

I understand what you say Nanami, but the thing is, the server hasn't been released at the same time of the housing, it has been months ago. The thing is then, the people is gonna start farm gil the same day of the housing release? because they had 2 months to do that. Also I moved to twintania to buy the plot 11 Lavender Beds, and what I see now? I can't do NOTHING, while all the plots get bought from random guilds. So do they had more right to have it? Because I won't leave my FC to create a new one and be able to buy it because I play with my friends on our FC. I think it's no fair to do that, at least it's not fair to see how plots dissapear in your face while you can't do nothing. I think it's not fair to do that like this, because people has had months to farm some gil, and know that housing was gonna come to the server. Why I should wait for a new FC with 5 members, 2 active members, buying the plot I want, and then leaving the house empty for months. This doesn't make sense for me.

You have shown me, that you have no idea. With 2 weeks is more than enough for the FC buy his own house. My particular opinion, I think only 2 hours since opened the housing for FC, ONLY 2 HOURS, after open the housing for all ppl, for two hours the FC have had time to buy the house. If people work, they have class, so on, It isn't my problem, they don't play this video game. Honestly, the FC of 4 people who want to buy a house, I don't give a shit

FCs benefit more from housing than individuals. Also private housing holds your subscription hostage.. you cant go away longer than 45 days. I understand the sentimental value of it though, I owned one myself. Besides that, you dont gain anything.

No, it's not. Personal housing doesn't give access to grade 3 buffs, it also doesn't give access to workshops. It also restricts all elements of (limited) housing to a maximum of 4 players per house.

FC housing gives all of the above and opens the potential access to 500 members per FC (depending on FC size and rank hierarchy obviously).

Imagine for 1 second, that we get into a situation where individuals own every single house and no FC gets one, no FC will have grade 3 buffs, there would be no special housing walls such as Odder Otter or Shirogane Castles, there would be no access to mounts, minions and music obtained by Submersible and Airship expeditions and housing would be less accessible to an individual than it is right now. Yes of course this is hypothetical but you have to imagine worst case scenario.

Yes of course there are shell FC's that take the complete piss, I will never dispute this, but it is literally the last housing loophole there is in order to make a quick buck (or to selfishly hold houses hostage) and I believe there should be stricter requirements for FC's buying houses but I couldn't possibly suggest a workable solution that suits the majority.

To answer the OP, I'd expect personal housing to be available at 5.1.

I repeat again, I don't give a shit about the bufos that FC's have, they have had time, more than enough, to acquire the house.
And if you do not suggest a solution to impose restrictions on purchases of FC houses, do not bother to post (you keep showing me that you waste your time on things you have no idea).
PD: it would be a shame for the management of SE to open the private house on 5.1

*Sigh* This kind of mentality and just coming in here and yelling and screaming will just invite more ire all around. I admit that a bum deal has been served to you guys but there's not much ya can do eh?
Next question is *why* do you *need* a house.
And if it's so bloody important to your needs and have to have it right this minute go make a mini FC, buy it and treat it like your house...

Jowy, you really expect private housing 5.1? I think that doesn't makes any sense, think on that. Now FC are buying houses, and I don't care if it's for resselling or for they own, my point here is. Why they have all the right of having the best plots of the server? WHY? Is that a right wich cames with a FC? Because I'm paying the same (at month) as a guy wich a FC house. Why he can has the best plot? And I must be seeing how plots dissapear in my face and I can't do ANYTHING, I'LL REPEAT ANYTHING. There's just 1 possible solution, buying it to a a resseler for 100 million gil? Does it really makes sense? NO. The point is they don't have the right to do this, at least in my opinion there just be a period of 1 week AT LEAST, BUT NO MORE for the chance of a FC to buy a house.
