Loot list glitch

Today while in parties Ive received messages that my loot list is full when neither my loot list OR my inventory was full. I would lose items bc they were automatically dropped- and no I didn't have the same item already in my inventory.

"Your loot list is full. Unable to obtain the scarlet sash."

Had the same thing happen to us today in Cutter's Cry.

All the party got the same message.

Make sure to tell the GM that your a lady sitting at home naked on your computer playing FF14.... If you dont you might never get the GM's attention and go unheard-of.

I was in Cutter's Cry during AF quest. Was in a party on Bard lvl 50. Whole Party received the message that I lost the loot : "Your loot list is full. Unable to obtain the scarlet sash.". My loot list wasnt full, neither was my inventory. The item wasnt in my inventory either. It was automatically lost.

It happened only once to me, but since the post other people have had the loot list glitch.

I noticed that another thread exists outlining this problem. GM, should we make new threads with similar names?
THis happened 4 times during 2 Cutters Cry runs to my LS last night.

Number of party members and names.: Full party (8) Take Ori, Zirgon Soul, Mik Vii, Aiobs Lugh... 4 other names are escaping me, sorry!

I've seen this happen to me before. I don't think it's a glitch; I'm pretty sure the wrong error message was just used.

You probably got this message not because your loot list was full, but rather because you were ineligible to receive that drop (i.e., you haven't done the prerequisite quest). Really, this message just needs to be hidden from everyone who is ineligible to receive the drop in the first place.

The picture was created on Saturday, ‎March ‎10, ‎2012, ‏‎8:17:53 PM (PST) so it would of happened shortly before that. 8 people in the party Buritoslicer Buritosandwich, Shuuugo Wuuugo, Entaro Tassadar, Hildemarr Hyleman, Dhaq Nievdhyln, Aniero Grigori, Reni Chan, Necro Reabs.

Frequency: 3-4 times within a 2 hour window

NPC related: Chimera in Cutter's Cry
In a full party.
Opened chimera 5 chest completion. Darklight Eyepatch dropped to the ground. We were all informed that our loot lists were full and were thus unable to obtain the Darklight Eyepatch.
