Compensation for light party Primals in DF

Sitting in queue for 20+ minutes and then getting the 'light' versions of the Primals is a real kick in the teeth. They award less than a thousand EXP. Sure, they go 'fast' (not counting waiting on the intro video) but the queue does not go any faster. It would be nice if it awarded a reasonable amount of EXP upon completion to anyone who was put into the group through the Duty Finder 'Leveling Dungeon' queue. Otherwise, I'm just going to keep turning the game off each time I get shafted with one.

Ask a friend to queue with you, how long you are queued for has no outcome on the duty.

The roulettes serve the point of getting ppl into duties tgey would usually not queue for, how often do you run garuda normal?

For the 3-5 min they take they give loads of exp. Ppl like me would want to have ifrit/titan/ruda everyday cuz i rather take 7mil in 4 min then 15 in 25min.

Besides admiting to turing off the game cuz you get a duty you dont want having 3 ppl wait till they can kick you? You are begging to get in trouble lol.

Is it really worth disconnecting and waiting another 30 minutes? I mean you waste almost an hour just with queueing and chances are that you are getting another Ifrit.

Personally I prefer the primals - the faster the dungeon, the better. It is basically free exp.

So OP throwing a tantrum because you don’t get what you want. OP is lucky that there is no way to prove if someone disconnect intentionally because they don’t get what they want, otherwise, ppl who do it really should receive a 24hr ban for using DF/PF/forming party when they accumulate the abuse enough in a set of time

Honestly if you want to make up the difference you just run hunt marks during the time your queue is going on. They give a good amount of exp with seals/nuts per day, and will help later on with buying augmented gear for the Deepshadow gear in SHB.

Though to be honest I went into leveling rous as dps for 8 jobs in a row on the way to 80. I just find things to do in the meantime to make the time waiting worthwhile.

To clarify, I finish the encounter before turning off the game. The way I wrote it was misleading and I apologize.
Regardless of what you do while queued, there is still a huge disparity between the dungeon reward and a primal reward. If I'm in queue and get a dungeon it takes about 40 min total and you get roughly a full level (at middle levels). If I'm in queue and get a primal it takes about 20 min and you get a few hundred EXP. When you've only got 2-3 hours a day at most to play this is a huge difference and something the player has no control over. Why not make it worthwhile for all players in the group when someone is working through the MSQ and has to do these?

    It does?

Last time i got a story trial in levelling roulette it threw me several million exp. considering how fast they are it's more than reasonable.

    This.

If you're running it more than once then thats typically a waste. because you'll often get nothing even if you get a dungeon.. if your second roulette gives you av for example and your level 60. then it wont even dent your exp bar..

It's better to do the roulette once for the daily bonus and then just queue the top 2 or 3 dungeons for your level if you want more exp

How much level progress did that several million experience actually give you though? That's the main issue here. Getting an actual dungeon in leveling roulette gives 1-2 levels, while a story primal gives maybe one-third of a level. It's great if you just want something fast, but if you're trying to get levels it's a significant loss, which means that often they're just really annoying.

I don't see why increasing the experience rewards would be a problem, anyway. It's not like people would leave and requeue until they got a story primal (which is relatively unlikely to begin with). It would just make them feel less wasteful if you do happen to get them.

1, 2 levels? Impossibl3, maybe at very low levels.
Its usually 1/3 of a level for a dungeons and 1/5 if u get a primal

I was going off my recent experiences leveling a few jobs up from 1, so yes (it was usually two full levels up to around 30 and then 1-1.5 levels up to 50). It does fall off as you get higher, especially above 70. But what you described is pretty much the same thing in terms of relative rewards. The primals are just disappointing for the queue times spent to get into them.
