    This sounds like the same issue i had. It has something to do with c states (i do not know what exactly that is or what they do), but i do know that the only game that seems affected by it is ff14. You'll want to boot up your bios, look for a setting that mentions c states and disable it. Its location is different for every motherboard model, so you will just have to look for it. This solved my issue, never had a random direct x crash again.
