Dont Be Silly Like Me-I didnt Level to 70 in 90 days

Dont be like me and take your time. Dont read quests, craft or watch cinematics. Straight up level level level. Get to dungeon level and do nothing but level before your new character xp buff goes away at 90 days. Some Square Enix developer is sitting in his leather chair laughing his a** off at me. I probably knew, but didnt know. Make the most of the danged buff before it goes away. WOW refugees beware. It is different from WOW.
i feel like im being punished for taking my time as a casual player. My guildies just told me, take your time on the second class once you get the first one to max. DO THAT.

Even if people read all quests, craft and watch cinematics...it doesn't take most people 90 days to reach lvl 70.

I've been taking my time, reading and following along with quest story lines, and I've managed to get 3 jobs leveled close to 70; plus all the time I've put into crafting jobs and stuff.

I think it's more of an issue concerning time management than following story lines. Also, I think Road to 70 is a bonus, not something owed to us that we lose. We are lucky to have it to begin with I think.

People are constantly turning this into a bigger issue than it actually is - there are so, so many ways to level in this game and so many different buffs and bonus-exp that you can get that I'll never understand why people feel the need to rush leveling or why they're worried they might miss out on bonus exp.

Make sure to always log out in a sanctuary (like a city or an inn) so you'll get your rest-exp-bonus. Buy some cheap food for the extra 3%. Get FC-buffs or manuals from your Squadron for more bonus-exp. Some special items will give you an exp-bonus up to certain levels aswell. Keep and eye out on your weekly agenda and make sure to complete all the easy tasks here! Daily roulettes will give a lot of exp aswell.

This game really isnt like WoW - its a lot more about the journey and in my personal opinion you should make the most of that and actually enjoy the story, take your time and watch your cutscenes. You'll have time enough to level a second, third, fourth job to max-level if you wish to do so.
If you rush through the story to get your first class to max-level there wont be much left to take your time with with your second class. Theres also little benefit to reaching endgame super fast - yes, there are raids and mas-level content, obviously. But at least to me the story really is the mainselling point and until we get New Game Plus you wont get that experience back.

Bottomline: Bad advice, in my opinion. Play the game in a way thats enjoyable to you, not in a way that is dictated by some buff thats absolutly not required which is to reach max level asap.

Lmao. You’re given a free buff - just for being new - to level faster and you feel punished when it’s gone after 90 days.

Let’s sit here a moment and think about how long 90 real days are.

Good warning in case people don’t know.

However, I leveled from 60 to 70 without realizing I could have used the XP earring.

Trying rush through everything will only burn you out and put you off the game.

Does this xp buff even apply to things like quest xp, roulettes, or Deep Dungeon?

If not it's kinda worthless anyway.

According to lodestone the guy's got 53 monk, every DoH at 50+ and every gatherer at 60+ not much time for reading dialog. Troll thread for sure.
