    Leveling solo

So I'm at level 23 CNJ and I've been hearing talk about starting to be able to solo effectively at around level 25. Where? And on what? Can anyone give me a general outline of places to solo from 25 to 50? I'm getting bored of leves, though I'm thinking I may have to do those for a while yet. I've heard GC leves are especially good, just not sure when I can start doing those.

Also is it worth it to be on the WHM job when solo or do THM skills such as Necrogenesis outweigh being a WHM?

    Thanks!

EDIT: Also, what's a good stat spread?

I did usual leves until 28 ish, then went to nanawa mines for the level 30 GC leves, and quickly reached level 30. Then I realised the GC leves are as boring as the others and cried. Best option IMO is find a party, or at least duo with someone, if nothing else it is less boring

You're better off soloing CNJ instead of WHM. Your attack magic is stronger as CNJ, also being able to equip abilities from other classes is nice solo. Honestly, if you have a stockpile of leves, and the rested bonus, leves are probably very effective for leveling at least to rank 35ish. Not only do you get exp for each kill, but you get about 2K for each leve you complete...and a refill of HP's/MP after each leve complete which usually means you spend very little time resting.

That being said, CNJ/WHM never has trouble finding a group...usually exp parties are BEGGING for healers. So your fastest method is probably go out and do a couple leves, but throw your 'seeking party' flag up. People WILL find you and invite you.

Concerning stats: Just avoid putting any points into STR or DEX, all the other stats have their uses. It's up to you if you want to focus a little bit or spread the points around, you can't go wrong either way.

On soloing, definitely use CNJ for all the extra abilities. Try to find camps or leves with Earth-weak enemies since its your high damage Combo, but definitely toss out Aero spells too. Off the top of my head, Wolves and Boars are weak to Earth, but you probably won't be able to start soloing them for a few levels. Their are a few wolf camps near Humblehearth (south of Gridania) but the lowest is L30-32 wolves.

Really, any enemy should be fine as long as they don't resist Earth spells, so try to avoid any aquatic enemies (Water resists Earth). Also keep Cleric stance up at all times while solo!

Thanks for the insight. Currently I play at odd hours so parties are rare, otherwise I totally would be partying all the time.

Also as for stats, I should have been clearer. What's the most effective stat spread for CNJ/WHM at level 50, just so I can have a goal
