    Where to find Aldgoat Horn?

I need a lot of Aldgoat Horns for crafting. But it seems SE removed or relocated the Billygoats from where I used to know. I rode my chocobo up and down from Bloodshore <-> Iron Lake <-> Skull Valley and only found 3 pops of Aldgoat Billy.

I went to check where Ravenous Billygoat used to be (in a narrow canyon between Camp Skull and Iron Lake), and there was none.

I went to South Bloodshore where people said there are Rav. Billy (sharing pops with some Dormouse) and killed a ton of said Dormouse, yet there is no Ravenous Billy at all.

I remember seeing a lot of Billy goats of various tiers while riding chocobo in La Noscea and Thanalan, yet now I can't find a good group of Billy at all.

Can anyone help shedding some light where are the Billy's nowadays?

There's a grouping of them just past the canyon-like transition area when you're travelling between Ul'dah and Camp Horizon. It'll be to the north of the path, around a small fishing point. I think there are more near the camp itself, but that area is where I go for all my farming.

Thank you very much! I went there and found some Aldgoat Billy. And one of them dropped a horn for me.

However, I went there just now and found that it's a popular EXP spot for people around level 20, so I can't have that camp for long.

Not only that, but those goats are too weak for me so I usually can't get enough TP to use Concussive Blow T.T I guess I really have to find Ravenous Billygoat, or any other billy of high level.

Thank you for the help though. Really appreciate it.

    What about equipping Invigorate?

1 Invigorate and 1 punch which kills a Nanny Goat gave me just a little bit below 1500 TP. So I will need to either wait for 1:30 minute until next Invigorate, or waste another Nanny. It would be ok if there's no one exp'ing there. But there is one person there now (lv 17) and killing so many enemies to gather my TP makes me feel like a bully for stealing the low level mobs.

I am thinking about going back town to buy the lowest DMG knuckles. Maybe that would help.

I wish I could just unequip my weapon and use bare fists >< gah!

    Thanks for the idea! ^_^

I found the area where the blm quests NPC's are below horizon have a few goats, which is pretty good because they are around level 40 so you can easily break the horn on each goat you find. This was before the latest patch but I assume they are still there

Thank you, I will go check there at once!

    -------------------------------

LOL I went the wrong way and my screen didn't load enemies properly, so when enemies were loaded, I was in the middle of several Basilisks and Inferno Drake. 5113 HP DMG sent me home to Uldah. Fun fun XD

Gotta go back again to look for those Billygoats. XD Thanks for the tip.

What I do when farming really low level mobs is get completely naked (;D), get on MNK (for concussive blow), and put on some reeeeeeally low level weapon (crabshell hora, for example). Then I punch one nanny goat and make it follow me forever so my TP doesn't go down, and run around TP-ing up on nannies and then punching the billies to death every ~30 seconds. I go with MNK because the cooldown on the incap. for head on MNK is the lowest of any of the other head incaps.

Also, you could try exploring more of the north/northwestern areas of Horizon, I hear there are a lot of good camps around, if none of the other suggested ones work :3

You don't need to incap for the horn to drop now. At least you don't for Antelope.
