Doing.. what? Specifically what can you do then that you cannot do now with your current maxed jobs? Most of the "endgame" content doesn't reward based on current job. If you're burned out on leveling maybe just do the endgame stuff for a while.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
You know i just don't like having unfinished stuff when i look at my class window, it bugs me all the time. That's why i always finish stuff like that as soon as possible and when im done usually some new patches and content is already released. Just to be clear i don't need any of the remaining classes, it's just for completion. Also i'm that kind of person which does one thing after another. I like to have one thing finished (even if it sucks) before focusing on something new.
no need to rush though leveling these jobs
you have 2 years before next expansion is out to get everything to 80 plenty of time to just sit back and do roulettes with a job
plus new beast tribes are around the corner to help out 70-80
If they change it then you will do the new most efficient thing and complain the others are not as efficient.I guess you can say that i'm guilty of always looking for the most efficient way and hate it when i get the feeling of wasting my time (and i clearly get that from fates). Don't get me wrong i also think there are already some nice other things in game that you could do besides Roulettes and normal Dungeons (like Squadron or the fates) but there are way to inefficient and i really have a hard time to understand why SE can't fix that (they just need to raise the xp reward for most of those stuff).
Am i wrong?
Depends, i think they are already a lot of other interesting activities ingame, the issue for me is most of them are not worth the time (in compare to dungeon Xp). For me it would be enough if they fix the amount of Xp you gain from stuff like Fates, Hunts, Trials, Squadron, Beast Tribes and after 73 Frontline Xp. I would like to do Combat Levels while waiting for Que but they didn't continued this feature also there are still no new beast tribes and doing the old are not worth the time after a certain lvl. I don't really ask for something new they should just make stuff that's already ingame worth your while.
I think the different activities you could do to lvl your class should at least be equal when it comes to time/xp and not that 1 or 2 things outperforms everything else.
There will be lots more exp methods in the patch series, you just don't get side content in a X.0 release. That's something it would be nice to change in the future. Mix up the order the content gets released because we're very fixed in a pattern.
Example: we get a deep dungeon right off the bat in patch 6.0 (unlocked during msq) and some other stuff instead of five leveling dungeons in the lv81-89 range. A 'relic' type weapon right off the bat with an expansion release would be nice too. The first step doesn't need to be very elaborate, just make something available to grind instead of coming several months after xpac launch.
if someone hasnt mentioned it already, you can just wait for PotD/HoH Shadowbringers edition. if its only alt jobs that you dont really need to level right away, its probably the best option to just wait for this content. Thats what im doing.I wish there would be more variety of reasonable options to lvl your char. Right now there are only 3 daily roulettes that are worth the time and the normal dungeons.
You could maybe count until 73 HoH (21-30) in, because it gives nearly the same xp as the 71 dungeon (in the same time) if you include the waiting time.
They should add another deep or rework the xp you get from them and frontlines in a way that scales with your lvl and is equal to dungeons. Maybe 2 (or 2 1/2) frontlines or HoH = Dungeon.
It would be cool if there where some kind of Mini Games that give you a bit xp while you spend your time in the que. Also it would be really nice if i could que up for frontline roulette and dungeons at the same time (in fact queing for more than one roulette at the same time would be great).
