Yeah we dont have bots feeding in pvp anymore.Just normal players feeding in it whole time to join it for rewards and xp.Honestly xp should be removed compeltly from pvp. They really can't rework Frontlines in a meaningful way because it'll just flood the mode with bots again. That's the main reason it's experience gains were nerfed the first time. There were /way/ too many matches where bots would just sit and feed the other team because even last place provided enough experience to be worth it to the bot runner. I'd love it if it was a worthwhile avenue to gain experience, as it was perhaps my favorite way to level some classes I otherwise despised in PVE, but unless SE finds better ways to discourage the bot players aside from vigilance on the part of the people they queue with it's just not going to happen.
Just about anything will get boring if you do it over and over again. This includes the most efficient means to acquiring exp. You gotta mix it up even if another method isn't the best use of your time, because from my experience focusing too much on optimization and efficiency begins to cut into my enjoyment of leveling a job; or rather, make it more arduous that it has to be.
IOW if you like doing combat leves, FATES, or other means of getting exp outside of spamming roulettes and dungeons then do them. I am of a mind that if you are not doing something you enjoy in the game, then you are not making the best use of your dollar to play this game. As an example, I always craft my own gear during the leveling process. To gather all the materials needed and then craft it is not the most efficient use of my playtime by any means when I have the gil to just buy it all off of the MB, or even use the HQ stuff a little longer as the game design allows. But I really enjoy doing it. I do not enjoy spamming roulettes at all. I do them only because they are a daily bonus that also provide other rewards on top of the exp.
The other thing is rushing. I think a lot of people underestimate how detrimental this is to just about anything. If you are the type of player with a mentality that all the enjoyable stuff is at endgame, then there is absolutely zero that can be done to make leveling fun for you. The best you're going to get is 'less boring'.
Battlecraft leves aren't a thing once you hit level 60. I wish they were, but I was told that apparently combat classes have too many ways to gain experience already?
MSQ Roulette alone is worth half a level a day, plus plenty of Poetics for getting other jobs geared up and ready to roll (or buying stuff to sell, if you don't need the gear).
Eventually there'll be another deep dungeon and beast tribes. Right now, just take it easy.
Yea im the type of player that thinks that the real fun in any mmo always starts with max lvl. That's why i always try to max my classes as fast as possible. Sure the first 3-4 where not that bad, but once you have finished all the classes you like lvling becomes nothing more than a necessary pain. At Least i have only 4 classes left, so maybe at the end of the month i can finally enjoy this game more again.
I agree with crafting your own gear. I do it because I enjoy it and I can't wear something if it doesn't have my name on it.Just about anything will get boring if you do it over and over again. Battlecraft leves were a leftover from 1.0, where in the beginning that was the only content. Yep, you heard me. They left them in for 2.0, but I imagine people didn't really do them much, and then in 3.0 they did them even less as there were so many more ways to level at that point.
If you like being efficient you should really like hunts, banging them out while you wait on a queue is a very optimum use of time, same with fatesI guess you can say that i'm guilty of always looking for the most efficient way and hate it when i get the feeling of wasting my time (and i clearly get that from fates). Don't get me wrong i also think there are already some nice other things in game that you could do besides Roulettes and normal Dungeons (like Squadron or the fates) but there are way to inefficient and i really have a hard time to understand why SE can't fix that (they just need to raise the xp reward for most of those stuff).

Depends on said queue times. Mine are usually under a dozen minutes, and having a decent group complete with AoE saves more time than that. But, by the time you're over twenty minutes or so...
The real runs are also just quite a bit easier on your sanity, and it's not like you can't FATE or level gatherers/crafters while you wait.
