Snowboard Minigame from FF7 Original

Thats another game, besides of Blitzball I'd love to see getting implemented with following gameplay options


Time Trial > Challenge here is just to be as fast as possible at the end of the track, so fasterf you are so better the rewards.

Balloon Hunt > Collect as many of them as you can from various colored balloons on the track, so more points, so more MGP, each point is a MGP worth. Red = 1, Blue =, 5, Green= 10, Purple = 25, Silver = 50, Gold = 100 Points

Style Contest > Not speed, nor Balloons are important, but here how stylish you were on the track by perfoming tricks, like grinds, spins, saltos,grips ect.

Race > Classical race vs 7 other players, first 3 at the end of the track win.

Freestyle > Basically Training Mode to train on the tracks and do them just for fun. Only Mode that costs no MGP, as you dont win here something, aside of getting more experience with the tracks hopefully.

Challenges > Fullfill certain challenges on the tracks to get special one time rewards.

Tournament > Time Trial Tournament, fastest player in the week of the Tournament wins a big prize. Each player has 3 Trys to get the best time. The result will be the middlepoint time that comes out of calculating all three tries together. Times get counted to 3 numbers past the comma, so xx:xx,000 to be precise enough, should players get very close similar times.

You definitely have my support. This has always been one of my favorite games in the series and I feel like it would make for a cool tie in with the eventual release of the first chapter of the remake. Hell they could even give it to an intern and present it in retro graphics to keep costs low and it'd still be an amazing amount of fun.

I think Yoshi P expressed interest in this as well, albeit quite a while ago. That isn't confirmation that it is ever happening, just that its not not happening

Hmm, yah a prety old interview of the time of pre Heavensward, with naturally no confirmation, just a quick notion about it that the player community has expressed its wish for Snowboardint to return, like I did that basically now here, but since then - silence.

Guess the community needs to make together more noise on this topic to let Yoshida and Co know, that the demand for Snowboarding is still there and high .
It would be I think the perfect opportunity to add a Snowboard Game to the Gold Saucer, if it would be done together with the release of FF7R, or shortly after that, to celebrat togetherr the awesome return of one of the greatest most successful cult JRPGs in gaming history with that a whole generation of people has grown up with, whose kids of that gen of people even play today this masterpiece, which will become by its remake only much more legendary and epic, simple becaus of the massive technological advancements from the last two decades polishing up this game only to much bigger greatness, that I will defenetely feel myself like a kid again next year in March, when basically people around all the world will be able to enjoy it again - me 100% included :3

The devs simply may not miss this chance for the ultimate selfbased Final Fantasy Cooperation. They did it with FF15, so I see no reason for it to make not again, this time next year with FF7R, with FF14 getting Snowboarding and in return we will find somewhere in Midgar a cute M'icote like in the FF15 cooperation, that Cloud will think of like as if it is a very good costume xD( thinking of Clouds Girl Dressing lol), finding her in the same shop ^^ ) and when done with her quest you can receive some FF14 based items from her if you beat first a new optional boss in the slums. Ps4 players would have to download this from PSN
Could be like in FF15 a primal, one that wasn't part in the original game to obtain this way his Summon Materia for the defeat of it, like Garuda again, the original offered no real wind based summon early within the Story, Typhoon was, but hes obtained in a bonus area that was not part of the storyline. That was so poor, that Chocobo/Mog had to be of Wind Element lol, just to fill the gap.
