A Second Main Weapon Option

If something like this were ever implemented into the game, what new weapon would you give a job class(es)?

For myself, it'd be Giant Shuriken for NIN as o've been a big fan of Yuffie from FF7 for years and always wished a giant shuriken could have been made into ninja's main weapon.

The Samurai job armor has us equipped with a Tanto knife. Would be neat if we could actually equip one.

Well, a couple jobs already have two options initially, but then from level 50 on they don't anymore. Bring back wands.

Can I give Dragoon a grappling hook? Seems pretty fitting for the class. I can throw my lance and reel it back in, drag enemies to me, or just stick the lance on the end of the cable and swing it around like a really scary morning star.

Crossbows for BRD. Only crossbow we have is from the LB1/2

Bard having a Harp as a secondary main weapon would be really cool.

Dancer could use Throwing Knives (I think they considered these before they decided on chakram)

If we want to go more traditional FF White Mages could equip bows, Black Mage could use a one handed knife and Summoner could have a staff/rod as secondary main weapons.

It’s a cool idea, but from what I understand adding another weapon option to a job would require nearly as much work as making 18 new jobs, so I don’t it ever be actually possible (which is a shame)

WAR should get Hammer as more than just a glamour from dwarves.
Give gunbreaker 'spiked club' - which there already is one for wolf marks, but make it more of thing.
Monk would get nunchucks.
Ninja could get a short sword or short bow.
Bard could get rapier (cutlass) and be melee (if this is too like RDM, instead a horn and special moves that use drums).
Dragoon could get a shortspear + shield.

Summoner could get 'chalk' - as in, to make ritual diagrams for summoning things.
Paladin could get a mace.

Scholar could get a scroll and pen - with animations to write symbols in the air.

Dark knight... I keep seeing an electric guitar and book of emo poetry but that's just being silly. I dunno...

black mage - a scythe, as a melee / point-blank-aoe hybrid.

white mage - a sickle and wand.

Astrologian - dice and a bag of bones.

Dancer - ribbon streamers.

red mage - I'm blanking here.

The Ronkan weapon is a crossbow.....held sideways like a regular bow.
