Please add item sharing within account

Hello, I wanted first to congratulate the dev team on such a great gameplay experience. I've had such a good time, that I wanted to play on another character, which leads me to a problem I ran into. It seems extremely complicated to be able to share resources within my own account.

I would like to be able to pass used items onto a secondary character within my account, such as leveling gear, and crafting tools. I can understand dungeon loot being forbidden from sharing, but there SHOULD be a way to transfer gil and basic items to another character within my account, on the same world. FFXIV has a wonderful amount of quality of life features that make it fun to play and restricting the sharing of basic resources between characters seems counter to a good gameplay experience.

You can if you happen to befriend your alt. Then you can use mogmail. But that's unavailable to most people.
Use a FC chest or something.

I understand that there are work arounds. But if we're looking at a pure quality of life perspective, there is almost no reason make difficult the sharing of basic resources within one's own account.
Getting gil from one char to another simply requires a friend. But if you have a lot of leveling gear and tools that are non sellable/tradable because used, these should be allowed to be transferred to an alt character for its use as well.
