Why healer armors are all ugly?

It's almost like...programming new art assets for several body types... takes alot of work and sometimes... it doesn't hurt to cut corners.

That still doesn't excuse the fact that when they do devote the time and energy to designing new gear, it often has the same problems the old gear did. It's a new robe or an oddly a-symmetrical pattern that no one really wants to wear. I mean the hailstorm set was like two different pieces of armor stitched together down the middle for heaven's sake.

Maybe they should hire those third party modders that see all over google creating very nice gear. I'm pretty sure they don't have the resource like SE has. Just SE is lazy. First thing when get gear have to glamour it with something that isn't so ugly.

Except... modders take assets from this game AND other games and implement it. They don't create.
There may be a handful of modders that maybe can do that, but they usually just take things and edit them. And thats WAY easier than creating a 3d model by yourself.

But yeah, let modders do it i guess.

Jesting aside, its all depends on your preference? Thats way the Glamour system is a thing

I guess it really depends on what you're looking for in a healing glamour.

Personally I use the High Allagan Coat of Healing. The open front of it makes it seem less dress-like, more like a long duster you buttoned near the top.

And as others have suggested, there are plenty of job-neutral armor pieces. The Scion Adventurer's set or the Rathalos armor are personal favorites.

I agree that healers have a hard time finidng cool armor, opposed to melee and ranged physical

I use the legacy mail and the Aurum regis boots to have a armored healer look.

Cause yeah, to hell with robes.

High Allagan coat of healing is perfection. They know they can't top it so they just give ugly robes so it stays the #1 glamour.
