Most of these people are just going to kiss up to the devs for their design choices, no matter what, and the devs are lazy, so no use in really complaining about it. For the record though, I do agree with you, lol. All healer glam I’ve seen look terrible.
no one talked s*** but okay bud. My opinion started wth my opening statement. That was it. You are coming across as someone who is just looking to pick a fight.
Why of course. Seriously, I al not opposed to having a glam option for it, But when the de facto end game armor for casters is plate that is where I draw the line... :/
I wouldn't just say its healer armors, most armors in this game are hideous, rather full sets are. It's best to mix and match and create something of your own. However, objectively they are going for a theme with healer gear - which is the traditional, robed priest-like so I see where they are going for. I wish they would have cooler looking stuff most definitely, but the worst problem is.... WHM staffs look like trash and they FOR SURE need cooler ones. There are only a few cool ones, and I have to go back and to artifact grind to get them.

I have a feeling they tend to be too humble in design. If they really want more healers in game to support DPS (faster queue), best to create more good looking design that will attract players.I wouldn't just say its healer armors, most armors in this game are hideous, rather full sets are. In reality, all MMO end game is the dress up game. What else you do when you get to end game and... why bother getting loots aside just bumping stats but most dungeons are level sync anyways. You can wear poop gears still get carried through.
Unless you're the 16% hardcore savage runners.
OK, those are pure perfection and would look amaaazing on both f and m healers *_____*
Ok, WHERE can u get the healer armor? I'll take 10! But if it's savage gear then gg
It not about the pants, it's about the top just completely covering the pantsLots of sets have actual pants. Not the relic gear, but look through the market board for healer gear and you'll see that the majority of leg wear is pants - and a number of them actually turn into shorts on a female character (eg. Astral Silk and Arachne/Pagos).
I don't see anything wrong with wearing old gear either - that's the whole point of the glamour system. Find what you like, and stick with it.
(I update my mage gear a lot, but I'm still wearing Lv50 gear on half my melee classes. Some of it just works and looks good, and I keep coming back to it.)
It would be nice for once to NOT to have to glamour caster (af) gear instantly and show it off a little for a change...oh well, can't please everyone, glamour plates are truly a blessing

This is our future. Our story.
Iscah said that last bit (I'm attributed to saying it, but I didn't), just to keep clarity of what I said lol. I figure it was just an accident that I was formatted in that but having had some serious misquoted moments in the past I prefer to get clarity asapOK, those are pure perfection and would look amaaazing on both f and m healers *_____+

Glad you liked the amors though, not that I drew them.. I wish lol, but I did spend a few moments googling different strings for variety of images.
Deepshadow gear is the particular one being discussed (where the mage gear is still knee-length robes but with scale mail incorporated into it), but there are a few other items - mostly just arm/leg gear though. High Allagan sollerets; Daystar sollerets; Lost Allagan and Bonewicca pieces.
You can also get the ex-seasonal-gear Legacy Warrior set from Mog Station which gives you an all-classes body armour piece.
I've posted it before, but this is an armoured WHM design I made with the Legacy cuirass and Daystar sollerets. There's also a less gaudy Lv60 version of the sollerets that you can purchase in Azys Lla.
Fair enough, though pants are usually the most boring part of an outfit, to me anyway.
Combining AF pieces with a different shirt can be a good way around it if you want to show off the other pieces and can find something that works together.
I definitely want more light armor looks for casters in general. Someone said it earlier and it is so true for RDM especially to have a robe clash so hard with the jobs aesthetic. A lot of gear that I really like has some little bit here or there that I would just love to lop off. Back in HW I loved the sky pirate casting gear, but the flowing bits attached to the back of it were completely unnecessary. I am using the omicron set now and I actually like the healer set fine but the caster jacket has this weird thing attached to the left hip and the collar is so high and pointed its likely to take my own eyes out.
