Why healer armors are all ugly?

All the set and armors I get from quests to dungeon in Stormblood and so on. All looks so ridiculous. Sorry, I am not here to flame the designer but it's all copy and paste lack of design.

I want to shorts, actual pants and variations. I have been wearing armors from 2.0.. nothing really from 3.0+ 4.0 ... etc.

Too much robes... can we have less robes? Actual armors? I mean caster don't have weak legs...

And, excuse me for saying so, but there is actually quite a variety with healer gear designs - maybe a bit robe-heavy, but still quite a lot of different designs. And if you dont like those, just pick non-role specific gear...

A variety of healer designs but we only know how to be in dresses.

I love all the people on here defending the gear like it's actually nice! Like seriously? Are you new to the game or something? Healer gear is hideous, it's all damn dresses! Maybe if you play as a female character it's not bad, but try the gear playing as a male toon. It's all dresses! You get a new set of gear, try it on and oh look it's a to the floor long green dress, how nice.

Glamour of course is an option but the biggest problem with glamour is that you're still locked by what can be glamoured to a healer, meaning you're restricted to special level 1 items or mogstation items just to find anything half decent. I don't want to look like a healer, why can't I look like a DRK while healing or SAM?

As soon as I unlock any new gear the first thing I do is glamour it to something I bought on mogstation and I've had the same glamour for years now since the variety is so terrible.
