Game freezing/crashing after the latest update

Ever since the latest update on 29th, my game has been either freezing or crashing constantly. I've had no problems playing before the update. The freezes happen either immediately after logging in to a server or after 5-10 minutes of gameplay. Sometimes the game freezes my whole computer and sometimes it simply freezes and closes itself. There are always some flashes of solid color (white or gray) before the freeze. I haven't gotten any error messages when the freezes happen.

I haven't done any updates on my computer before the freezing started happening, but after the freezes I updated Windows and my graphics card's drivers to try and fix this problem, but no luck there. My computer isn't overheating either, everything is normal temperature. All the other games work just fine.

So far I've disabled all overlays, clean booted my pc, ran the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode, and also updated the drivers mentioned in my first post, as well as the Windows 10 update.
I'm not able to provide a screenshot, the freezing and crashing prevent me from doing that. But the game usually has these flashes of color before the freeze, which get more intense when getting closer to the actual crash, and then my whole screen freezes into a solid color throughout my whole screen and my pc freezes.
