I think it's best to just ask your healer. Some tanks will pull wall to wall on the first trash pack, but then if the group wipes, the healer will sometimes get nervous, and I feel like wiping everyone wastes more time than just pulling a little less, ya know?

The people here saying start slow and gradually ramp up are my kind of people.
