    It depends what you consider "actually having a problem."

    In general, I think tanks who do single pulls are worse players than they could--perhaps even should--be, and I can guarantee you that I'm not alone in that sentiment.

    Speaking as a slow-running tank, I just prefer to take it one battle at a time as opposed to rushing it all. It's different but I'd like to think I'm not actually doing anything wrong.
    It's a matter of perspective, really. Is doing a sub-optimal DPS rotation "wrong?" Is refusing to DPS as a healer "wrong?"

    It's sub-optimal play, if I'm being honest. If that's acceptable to you, then that's your prerogative, but how you play can and will affect other players.

    Sadly Dark Knight actually encourages speedrun behavior even more due to how Darkside works now, which goes against my preferred playstyle in dungeons, though I do mass pull if I am confidant enough outside of playing Dark Knight, and I don't pull until bosses until everyone is topped off on HP and MP, and Darkside spits on it and throws it out the window...


    So long as you play a tank that doesn't have a buff timer that you need to manage in between pulls you should be fine...


    Also I keep finding more things that I hate about Dark Knight than what I actually like about it...

    I won´t tell a slow tank, that he needs to go faster, but slow dungeon runs are just boring as hell. He will not get a commendation and im silently bored and pissed.

    The thing is, a pull works always the same:
    Tank pulls, tank aoes, dps aoes, healer aoes + heal.
    So, if everyone is playing on an ok level, slow pulls just take twice as long as a big pull, because aoe does the same dmg to all mobs, no matter how many there are.


    (If there is a new player it is of course ok to pull slower.)

    As a healer I dislike small pulls but I won't comment on it.

    I do hate it when tanks pull small and then don't use any mitigation tools.

    That's obviously worse lol. But not using anything for small pulls because of what I assume is the"I might need them later" mindset usually ends up with never using them at all. Same goes for dps, usually they'll pop cooldowns and aoe nuke during wall to wall pulls but they'll save them if tanks pull small.

    You'll probably end up taking more damage that way in the end anyway + it just takes forever.

    Personally, I think that the faster the better... but only if we are not gonna wipe so align with the healer.
    As a healer, I usually tell the tank that he can do big pulls right after saying hello. When I tank I just go for it and see how the healer does on the first pull.

    Okay. As someone who loves Gunbreaker I try to stretch out my cooldowns during big pulls, but as Dark Knight I forget I even have cooldowns due to how situational most of Dark Knights personal cooldowns are(not counting role actions mind you)... Paladin is a mix between the two mostly because of Clemency. Just imagine all of Paladin's Oath gauge spender have a 1200 cure potency, and Paladin would be the healer disguised as a tank...
