Tanks that want to take it slow?

I’m fine with either or. All I ask is the tank do two things. 1) don’t pull more than you know you can handle. 2) be decisive. Nothing irks me more than popping my BotD because it looks like the tank is going to pull slow only for him/ her to start running like a mother because they finally decided to pull big. Usually ends up in me wasting my CD

I mean......no matter if you are facing 3 or 30 mobs, you will always attack with aoe combo and hit defensive cd.....death or alive that's healer's problem to deal with.

No I rather have them do slow pulls than to wipe a bunch of times from healer not being able to heal them fast enough.

I don't speed-pull because I'm rushing, I do it because the game is genuinely not enjoyable otherwise, I don't even need a defensive for single packs and a WHM can just put regen/beni on me and ignore me.

With that said, if a healer lets me die because they're still spamming gravity/holy and I'm on 35k, it's single pulls for the rest of the instance because I stop trusting them.

as a tank i ask healer if they want to big pull, if they dont want it nobody can blame me if we do it slow, as SMN i love when tank do big pull, but still no complain if they do small pull, instead i make a macro to make my character spam ruin/ruin3 when tank do it while i am watching netflix

As healer main, I'm bored to death if tank doesn't mass pull. As said ... it's the way it's designed ... and at least I need to heal on big pulls and not just spam the same ability over and over ...

now I sometimes don't mind doing 2 pulls before a wall ... but u need that at least to feel the stress

I think a balance is better. You don't need to pull wall to wall of course, but never pulling more than one mob group at a time is very slow except for maybe brand new healers. I'm still quite new myself and playing as a WHM. A wall to wall pull is stressful for me still, but the tank never pulling more than one group at a time feels much too slow to me already. It doesn't have to be something you put pressure on yourself to do instantly, but I would work toward it rather than just staying slow intentionally. I think you'd wind up having more fun yourself actually.

When a tank pulls small I roll my eyes. I only occasionally will dungeon tank when I'm in the mood as a raid tank main. So when a tank yaps at a healer to say "well why don't you tank" I'll say "k, back out put up a PF and I'll tank". Done it 4 times now.
The only time I will ever take it 'slow' is if my healer is undergeared or my healer can't keep up. Make the healers sweat is what I say, helps them get better and deal with stress if they plan on end game healing anyways.

if I join a dungeon as a healer and the tank only pulls one group at a time I will most likely leave the dungeon every time
