When you mold something out of crap it doesn't matter how many times you remold it, it will always be crap.

To fix the issues of Summoner as a pet class they would have to completely redesign and reprogram the pets from the ground up.

You don't care about the Egis, you use them only because you have to to use that you actually want to use which is Bahamut and Phoenix.
