Its posted in relevant locations, anf eithin the bounds of permissions. The fact that you active go out of your way to say such a thing shows ur bias to the topic.
And i agree its a relatively large rework, but o ly of the lvl 70- 80 skill roster, and stating that its unreasonable tells me you are completely ignorant of the issue of those skills, u do know 1 is a reskin of a skill prior removed and the other 2 are dead skills, effectivly meaning that monk only got gl 4 this expansion
Before this post of yours gets deleted, here's a couple of forum rules I think you missed
1. "Posting a number of posts with the same content"
This is literally the same massive post you made in the DPS role section
2. "Posting content that does not follow the theme of the category or thread."
General is not the place for specific class discussions.
Monk already got massive QoL changes in 5.05 and is sitting at the top of the charts. It's got a couple of situational skills, meant to be used right before you're disconnected from a boss. It's anatman ability, while not entirely worthless, is used mostly to generate a quick GL stack instead of keeping up GL as originally intended.
Assuming, again, that you aren't a troll, you need to realize that it's always highly unlikely that it's everyone else that is wrong/biased/or whatever else you want to tell yourself to justify your position.
Debating a rework of a skill or two would make sense. Asking for 5 new skills, a new form, and an entirely new chakra system is absurd and never going to happen.
In which reality is being the best DPS in the game getting the short end of the stick? I have such a hard time to believe you are not a troll...

I stated that in the actual post, if u read it. But just cause its dps is high, doesnt mean the kit is great. There are 3 dead skills, the skill of true north and riddle of earth's earthen reply gives the monk no reason to do its positional, makeing the class utterly dull. Its got mechanical issues and sooo many repeat skill effects to refresh greasedlightning that it give the player no room for any creativity. The og rotation hasnt changed sense a realm reborn, and everything added to it after lvl 50 has been thoughtless additions with little concern for their impact onthe class, or the balance of dps.
How bout read before making careless remarks.
That litterally why monk is in the spot its in now, cause of carelessness.
I don't think you get it, some classes are literally not even being allowed into high-end content and you literally sit here and complain that MNKs have the short end of the stick because they have *gasp* 3 entire dead skills... There are classes with more dead skills than that AND that are below MNK (which, btw, if I need to repeat it ARE THE TOP DPS IN THE GAME) on the DPS ladder. There are far graver things that needs to be fixed than MNK right now in terms of class rebalancing, unless said rebalance is a direct nerf of MNKs.I stated that in the actual post, if u read it. One thing I definitely agree with--and mostly because it looked like it was going in that direction--is the light/dark fist lore of the job and yes, ShB should've been the perfect opportunity to go into that.
Martial art masters trying to discipline themselves in media/literature is nothing new. Most famous video game example is Ryu from Street Fighter, who constantly is at war with himself to not fall into the temptation of the Satsui no Hado. We could've had something similar or at the very least, trying to continue mastering equilibrium, not just from a lore perspective but gameplay too. I would've liked seeing a "shadow fist" counter where it continues to build up, then you have the choice of sacrificing it or using it, each wielding its own positive effect and drawbacks.
Oh well
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
You say oh well, but if enough voices say the same thing, change can happen. After all, just look at outrage culture. Prime example. One thing I definitely agree with--and mostly because it looked like it was going in that direction--is the light/dark fist lore of the job and yes, ShB should've been the perfect opportunity to go into that.

I really wanted to see that theme take root in SB expansion.
The only thing I do agree with is how Six-Sided Star is mostly worthless. But to insinuate Monk needs any more help beyond the Anatman annoyance is silly at best. You shouldn't need a third party program to properly optimize a job. Other then that, the only changes Monk needs is potential nerfs.
