Titan Savage Fast Bomb Boulders are the worst mechanic in the game.

You can't even get a chance to read which way to go for bomb boulders because of how you can lose 3 rocks from dropping them down properly. The biggest issue is mainly avoiding fast bombs, because there are instances where certain classes(DNC in particular) get cucked if Titan decides to use his Car Opener. Also, the time it takes for the bombs to blow up is very fast, and provides no time if you get unlucky. You also have to hide behind a rock before Rock Bombs too, so it becomes even tighter.

It may seem like a simple mechanic, but it almost guarantees you get a raid-wide damage down if you can't barely get out in time.

Other methods include looking at the castbars in enemy list and timing your movement. Or you can just always go for the 3-1 bombs, which you can guarantee to happen, but this may cost you some melee uptime. Either way, it's not really that tight if done correctly.

This is what I personally do it. You can move to the center a bit before the cast from the central bombs go off, you don't even need to sprint. I've done it successfully with 170ms of ping. My group does the 1-3 one, costing them the uptime... but I like being a baller...

I almost never get hit by them if I stand on the edge of the safe tile and run as soon as the cast bar hits the "n" in Explosion.

Your tank suppose to guide the boss to the 3rd bomb to do the mechanic correctly, there plenty of time to do so... , people just lazy them because you can dodge it consistently even fron the 2nd bomb

DNC has En Avant, it has it way better than any other job in that fight.

Plenty of time if you don't mind losing melee uptime.

Doing this is brutal for melee and tank uptime though. You lose upwards 4-5 GCDs when you can just learn the 2-1 dodge and lose nothing.

u dont have to hide behind the rock until the bomb go off, u online need to be behind the rock until the end of cast of "wave" then you can move two lalafell distance and hit sprint, get ready to run after the 1st bomb.

i also measure distances with lalafells.

but I also had to practice this for literally hours to get the placement right. things i learned:

-dont depend on the safety rock to be perfectly center, that will kill you.
-eyeball the center of the 2 boulders you're trying to dodge to find that safe little divot to stand in (that picture above is perfect for demonstrating this)
-you can move the instant seismic wave fills its cast bar

My grp has to do the 3-1 bombs as there are 4 of us with EU latency on NA servers (1 tank, 1 heal, me the dnc and our melee) it sucks to lose a little uptime but it is better than dying/getting dmg down doing 2-1 which is nigh impossible(hyperbole ofc) with our latency as you just can't react fast enough especially if you ever get a blip in connection. This mechanic is the only one way i feel my latency is a problem but thankfully there is a workaround. (if those few gcds cause you to hit enrage than there are other problems going on).
