    The annoying thing is that using standard-type, your character backpedals slowly when you press the low arrow key, while in legacy-type, your character runs backwards at standard speed. It'd be nice if standard-type could also move at a similar speed if you pressed the key.
    thanks, i always switch to legacy-type when i make a new character as standard-type drives me up a wall. I couldnt remember how it actually affected the camera. I dont really know how anyone can use standard-type but its their preference. I didnt realize it locks your camera that way, that sounds awful.

    People complained about he camera since arr is out. I doubt we still see change anytime soon...
    I like personally the aesthesics of the movementanimation in standard style but am faced with the same problem that evading aoe takes longer with it especially on controller. The advantage the locked standard camera has however is that it doesn't auto-adjust to the front everytime you look around you like it is on legacy, when you are moving straight. It's so horrible on the eyes to try to keep your camera faced to a direction while moving with the controller, you have to constantly correct the view to keep the focus. To have a simple checkbox for that to disable it would be so good...


    But atm the game likes to face the camera in the massive flying wind particle which is attached to every tiny flying mount. Also annoying on the eyes.. I wish you could just see clearly lol the particleeffects are so not needed.
