    Cross World Question

    I have a real-life friend who is on a different server in a different data center (me: Cactuar, her: Leviathan). I'd like to connect with her in-game. I did some research on cross world stuff, but it doesn't seem to work. Apparently, being in different data centers is problematic.

    Main question: Is there any way for us to be in-game friends?

    Secondary question: Is there any way for us to message each other in-game, or to join the same party, or to participate in a cross-world linkshell?

    As of now, you do have to be on the same datacenter to do any of that.
