I really wish there was a change to the housing situation. The apartments are okay but not really a solution. I was thinking it would be neat if they added a new zone for housing and make it sort of like a town, what I mean is a zone that can expand with the demand for plots or shrink if needed. I think it would also be neat if there was options for having a shop or a shop with a loft on top. A lot of other games have found lasting solutions for housing I just wish this game would come up with something. Maybe if we keep asking maybe they might consider it.

I really wish people would understand that they should keep asking in one thread instead of creating new ones every other day - I know, I know, everyone just wants to speak their mind, but to keep asking by creating 100 of tiny threads isnt helping. Past evidence has shown that the devs are way more likely to notice (and consider) threads with a lot of posts and likes instead of a lot of small threads.

So... if you want to "help" and if you dont believe that they're already trying to work something out in regards to housing (just maybe not at the pace you'd like, because other things take priority) stop making thos threads and focus your efforts into one big one. Without wanting to sound mean: chances are your suggestion or your propose solution has been made 10 times already and isnt original enough to warrant a new thread that dies after a week and wont get noticed.

Let's say you have a house but you feel like you need a break from the game for 5 months cuz you've played for years and very heavily.

Well you don't to lose that house.

So in order to have you're plot destroying you can't cancel/suspend game subscription for too long before you have to log in again.

SE definitely knows this. It keeps ppl subscribing so that they can log regularly enough to make sure they don't lose their house. I just resent it and housing demolition because they kinda have us trapped. And especially now with the game's popularity having increase, they should provide even more housing.

I support their "stay active or lose your house" philosophy. If you're not using it, then yes, it should free up for someone else to use.

Even though your question wasnt directed at me, I'd like to give you an answer - or at least my answer: To make people aware that combining their efforts into one thread instead of cluttering the forum with many will achieve more than making the same thread with the same suggestions (lottery, drop the timer, instanced housing, more wards and so and so forth, we've heard it all).

If the OPs all seriously want to effect any change and not only vent about their own experience with the system, they'd be wise to make a "master-thread" and keep that alive, aswell as complying with the forum-guidelines to check wether or not the thread they want to make already exists. In the housing-case simply opening the forum is enough to see that there are many threads on the issue. This might be a personal pet peeve of mine, but I just love it when people acuse the devs of being "lazy" while they themself appear to be to "lazy" to make sure they're not creating duplicate thread#27.
