Fatal Directx 11000002 Error

I have noticed for 3 weeks now my computer would freeze anywhere from 2-10 seconds while in game. The past 3 days it has done the same thing but an error message now pops up saying "Fatal DirectX 11000002 Error" then closes FFXIV. First time it happened during Eden Sepulture. Every other time was just running around in Idyllshire and Crystarium. I have tried underclocking my gpu, turning off all overlays, only running ffxiv, and made sure windows drivers/graphic card were fully updated. Not sure what to do from here.

Bro, the solution I did for this error is that I limited my monitor refresh rate from 144Hz to 85Hz using my NVIDIA Control Panel > Display (left side) > Change resolution > 2. Choose the resolution. Mine is from 1920x1080(native) @ 144Hz to 1920x1080(native) 85Hz. Then I logged in the game (in CONFIG, I'm using DirectX 11), went to System Configuration and made sure the resolution is in 1920x1080 (85Hz) as well in Full Screen. I played for the whole day and did not encountered a single fatal DirectX error (11000002). I'm hoping this is the solution for this error in my PC and to yours as well. I raised a technical inquiry also on this forum but unfortunately no reply from mod. Let me know if this works for you.

Please note that I removed all the previous temporary solutions suggested from this and other sites such as overlay, startup application, under clocked the GPU, and etc. but still did NOT encounter a single DirectX error after playing for the whole day today.

The only other game I play never has the freezing or any error message. Today I was on for 45 minutes after taking out any dust inside my case and changed my monitor from 60hz to 144hz. During that 45 minutes I didn't not get booted off but i'm expected to raid tonight so I will see if I get the message during raid.

If you have not done so already, could you try doing a cleanboot? Open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.
