    Machinist Redesign 2.0 Shadowbringers Edition

    Next class on my tour - the Machinist.

    Despite having to say, that SE did a pretty good job at streamlining the class and reworking it, so that the skills fit better the theme of ghe class, I must say stil, that here n there are a few points, which disturb me alot and which I'd love to see getting fixed.

    How I'd do that, will you recognize as usual in the Skill List and Trait List, where my made changes will be defined better in a simple overviewable way.

    Skill List:


    Level 1 > Split Shot > rename to Quick Shot, effect added of 10% increased Critical Hitrate ,if battles get initiated with this Skill.

    Level 2 > Slug Shot > renamed to Leg Shot, merged basically with the Role Skill in order to get rid of Role Skills completely, having their effects individually merged into Job Skills, makes more sense.

    Level 4 > Hot Shot > renamed to Explosive Round, grants now more Heat

    Level 10 > Reassemble > Effect changed to become later a Charge Skill with 2 Charges. Effect of Arms Length merged in.

    Level 15 > Gauss Round > renamed to Blood Round, effect added, dealt damage to partially heal you, basically merging this way Second Wind into this

    Level 18 > Spread Shot/ Flare Shot > Shoot a Flare into a sky, resulting in the marked ground target to be bombarded by a flying drone.

    Level 20 > Target Signal > Mark a target, allies will deal on marked targets 5% more damage.

    Level 25 > Slime Puddle > Shoot Slime at the ground that makes affected foes unable to deal critical hits

    Level 26 > Clean Shot > renamed to Precision Shot, effect added that deals extra damage based on the distance between you an target, higher distance = higher bonus damage.

    Level 30 > Hypercharge > Effect changed to a Charge Skill with first two, later 3 Charges, obvious why this has to be a Charge Skill, one might think, or???, mergec effect of Peloton into this, increasing for the party movement speed, now also in combat too.

    Level 35 > Heat Blast > Napalm Grenade > Effect added, every 4th Heat Blast turns now into a Napalm Grenade that deals instead AoE Damage later.

    Level 40 > Rook Autoturret, renamed to Rifle Autoturret/ EMP Auto Turret/ Rook Overdrive > renamed to Turret Bomb, effect changed, overcharge a Target Turret to let it explode n deal AoE Damage.
    The return of 2 removed AoE Turret Skills, which deals damage to hit targets inside of it's range, being able to use it together with Spread Shot again for good AoE Synergy.
    Turrets become again ground target skills and have a duration of 15, before they disappear.

    Level 45 > Wildfire, effect changed, buff now that lets Weapon Skills hit twice while its up. Duration n Recharge shortened in half./ Detonator removed

    Level 50 > Ricochet Shot, merged with the effect of Head Graze, can now interrupt the Main Target.

    Level 52 > Auto Crossbow , effect changed, merged now with Foot Graze, not bound to Heat anymore, has 5 Charges.

    Level 54 > Heated Split Shot, renamed to Hellfire Rounds, Upgrade of Quick Shot, deals now Aoe Damage on initiative Attack, otherwise hits single targets now 3 times.

    Level 56 > Tactician

    Level 58 > Drill Shot > Piercing Drill Shot > Gains a Combo Effect with Reassemble to become Piercing Drill Shot, hitting then foes in line of sight.

    Level 60 > Heated Slug Shot, renamed to > Cluster Shot, upgrade to Leg Shot, adds Slow as effect so that enemy auto attacks happen less oftenly

    Level 62 > Mist Grenades > 2 charges, throw a Mist grenade to interrupt foes and to heal nearby allies with it a bit.

    Level 64 > Heated Clean Shot, renamed Satellite Laser, upgrade of Precision Shot, to have a name more afters its animation.

    Level 66 >Barrel Stabilizer, returning the Upgrade to the Barrel, effect changed > Raise Weapon Skill Range by 20 % while up, maxes Heat on removal of the Barrel Upgrade.
    Turning this Skill in a Mode Skill

    Level 68 > Tesla Gun > Shoot a shocking lighning that deals line of sight damage and can charge up Charge Skills by 5s.

    Level 70 > Flamethrower , effect changed, causes now Burning DoTs on foes that are hit by Flamethrower longer than 4s, for additional damage over time.

    Level 72 > Bioblaster > Deathblaster > added combo effect with Reassemble, causing more potent DoTs and a low chance to petrify targets for few seconds

    Level 74 > Grenade Launcher > Use this tool to shoot grenade on long distance, can be used at maximum heat.

    Level 76 > Air Anchor
    Is now an own skill, not a Skill Upgrade of Explosive Round.

    Level 80 > Automaton Queen, renamed to Terminator/ Teminator Overdrive
    Turrets n Terminator can now be used together, Terminatir is no upgrade to Turrets anymore

    Coming with this concept to exactly 32 Skills, which makes exactly 2 Skillbar Segments full.
