Mount showplaces?

About the only time you can get a good look at an interesting mount is to encounter it in the field, and usually that's just a fleeting glance as one passes by. or one happens to be in some town you're visiting.

How about reserving some space in the cities where players can mount up and show what they have, and others can see them as well? Most of the cities have at least one open area that's not really being used for anything else, where this could be done without the mounts cluttering the busier areas.

This was one of my favorite features from SWTOR. Being able to put down mounts and minions really made the various bases come alive and I loved going to some bases just to see people's collections. It'd be nice if we could do that here. The mounts just stand and idle, they don't even need to move.

That would work, but it might be a bit crowded given the number of mounts in game.
One thing I suggested earlier was a vendor that would let you test drive ANY mount in an instanced environment. You could see how it looks under your character, run, fly around, but not actually use it to travel anywhere in the regular environment.

They mentioned this during the last live letter and said they would have lots of issues with furniture and the like, but they're looking at introducing some sort of farming thing where you might be able to do that. Final Farmville XIV.
