I haven't done any myself, but honestly just looking at the GNB/DNC quests from 60-70 it really seems like they went into them very halfbaked in terms of story. I loved how the instances were in those ones (Dancer 70 being pretty fun), but they were a far cry from some of the crazy ones like SAM's 70 instance and NIN's 70.

More so then instances it's the story that really gets me. I honestly love the Job storylines and it's a shame to see them in this form. I understand it's tough making stories and events tailored for 17 different jobs in a new expansion but I don't think how they did this was the best. I'm sure a big reason for this has to be related to the First and the devs probably not wanting to break the immersion of your journey there to head back to the source and get new abilities and the like. Yoshi-P did state the original intent was to have the 80 Job quest explain your level 80 skill but they couldn't get it in during the time. I think that also hampers part of the journey especially when DRG gets something like Stardiver which is clearly inspired by Niddhog.

I'm more interested in the new jobs they add for the next expansion as it seems like they are closing the books on traditional job quests, yet the new jobs would need some form of introduction. Not sure if they'll pull the same like GNB/DNC where there is a storyline from 70-80 but I would be surprised if they did.
