Please make these tradable to free trial characters.

I met the person I intend to bond with in another online venue. We have friends there who we would love to invite to the ceremony. We really can't ask them to buy the game just to see the ceremony.

But I got my fiance to subscribe because free trial.

So if I have a good reason, like getting married, to get friends from other venues to try the endless free trial, even if they have to get to some point in the MSQ to attend, they just might like it enough to perhaps subscribe someday?

In any event it will get people who would never try the free trial to try it.

Attending does not have any requirement outside of being sub to the game. If they did let you trade to a free trial the players would not have to level much, if you and some others have the FF15 colab mount. The Cathedreal is in the East shroud if I am not mistaken so could give them a ride there. Them traveling by foot obiviously would not be a good idea unless they were properly leveled.

No, it wouldn't. You just said they would never try it. They wouldn't be doing it to try the game, they'd be doing it to attend your Ceremony and that's it. All they have to do is create a character that starts in Gridania, pick up Miounne's first quest and unlock all the Aethernet shards so they can get access to Blue Badger Gate then run to East Shroud with a higher level player for escort. Takes maybe 10 minutes from when you begin character creation. No need to play the game at all.

Attending a Ceremony of Eternal Bonding is not something needed to try out the game so SE is pretty unlikely to unlock the trade window to trial players just so they can get an invitation.

If you want your friends to see the ceremony, ask someone to stream it for you or record it then file share if you don't know a streamer. If they're true friends who really want to be present at your Ceremony, maybe they'll give the game an honest try.

Better yet, invite them to your real wedding that actually means something instead of a fake game wedding.
